How can we design technology that is privacy-friendly, trustworthy and benefits society? DSI member Dr. Anton Fedosov (Department of Informatics, UZH) co-edits a special issue at Springer’s «Digital Society» journal together with Dr. Aurelia Tamò-Larrieux (Maastricht University, The Netherlands), Dr. Christoph Lutz (BI Norwegian Business School, Norway), Dr. Eduard Bosch-Villaronga (Leiden University, The Netherlands), and Dr. Anto Čartolovni (Catholic University of Croatia, Croatia).
DSI members and friends are encouraged to submit contributions that combine interdisciplinary perspectives on privacy (enhancement), trust and automation, which can be applied to different sectors, such as healthcare, education, leisure or work. The special issue emerged from the related conference supported by the GoodBrother COST Action (CA19121) on Privacy-Aware Audio- and Video-Based Applications for Active and Assisted Living. The submission deadline is 28. February 2023.
