I am a graduate in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and currently a PhD candidate in Sign Language Processing at the University of Zurich, supervised by Mathias Müller, Rico Sennrich, and Sarah Ebling.
My research focuses on creating multimodal systems that leverage the vast amount of large language model (LLM) text data to enhance the performance of sign language systems. As part of the SIGMA project, I develop tools, resources, and demos to assist both new researchers and users in improving their experience with sign language processing systems.
My passion lies in deep learning technologies, especially those related to multimodality. I have extensive experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), specifically in speech-related tasks. Previously, I worked as a student assistant in the MT-UPC group and as a research engineer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. I also collaborate with the Stanford Sandbox group on precision medicine projects, including phenotype imputation and prediction.
