Every year, the DSI Strategy Lab deals with a focus on digital transformation and develops conceptual analyses and strategic scenarios for future developments in digital transformation.
The approach to a topic is always interdisciplinary, usually through retreats, workshops or other suitable forms of cooperation. The result in each case is a high-profile product such as a position paper.
The focus topics of the DSI Strategy Labs:
1. DSI Strategy Lab: A Legal Framework for Artificial Intelligence
2. DSI Strategy Lab: Artificial intelligence in medicine - where do we want to go?
3. DSI Strategy Lab: AI in education, research and innovation
4. DSI Strategy Lab: Disinformation
5. DSI Strategy Lab: A Future with Quantum Computing
The idea for the DSI Strategy Lab arose from an early strategic initiative at the DSI, the Manifest für eine digitale Demokratie (in German; also in FR and IT), which sets out principles for a renewal of the direct democracy in regard to digitalization.
