Research area
I am an interdisciplinary post-doctoral researcher working in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) in mental well-being, education, digital accessibility, disability studies, AI ethics, and human-computer interaction. As a curious person, I draw on theories and methods from these different areas and strive to collaborate with researchers embracing interdisciplinarity. In particular, I am interested in building a common understanding and bridging the gap between research and implementation.
My research examines how to design and implement AI applications inclusively, particularly in the contexts of high-performance sport, mental well-being, and higher education. While my doctoral research focused specifically on the experiences of students with disabilities, I aim to broaden this lens to also consider how gender, race, migration background, and socio-economic status shape people's access to and experiences with these systems. Centering the perspectives of minoritised and underserved communities is, I believe, the only way to build tools that genuinely serve everyone. My current work spans several strands: the accessibility of AI-generated (vibe-coded) websites compared to those built by non-expert users, how students decide whether to delegate learning-strategy tasks to AI, and disability representation in AI-generated content.

Project
As a postdoctoral researcher, I collaborate with Safespace Research AG, a startup I cofounded with Matteo Pinna in June 2026, where we develop an AI-based app to support the mental well-being of athletes. This collaboration allows me to bring my research on inclusive AI design directly into practice, notably investigating what neuroinclusive digital design looks like and how to ensure well-being biomarkers remain accurate for athletes with disabilities.
I previously contributed to the AI Buddy project, an AI assistant for all students at UZH, where I led branding work and supported the user experience process.
