Kerstin Noëlle Vokinger, Prof. Dr.

Kerstin Noëlle Vokinger is assistant professor at the Faculty of Law and DSI professor at the University of Zurich. She studied law and medicine in parallel at the University of Zurich and received her PhD in Biomedical Ethics and Law under Prof. Dr. iur. Thomas Gächter at the University of Zurich. After being admitted to the bar, she completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Harvard Law School (Cambridge, USA).

Kerstin N. Vokinger was research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. iur. Thomas Gächter, visiting researcher with Prof. Dr. iur. Urs Gasser, LL.M. at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Aaron Kesselheim, MD, JD, MPH, in the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics, and Law at Harvard Medical School. Since 2019 she is an Affiliated Faculty Member at Harvard Medical School.

Within the scope of her research activities, Kerstin N. Vokinger deals with interdisciplinary issues at the interface of law - medicine - technology, with a focus on «Regulatory Sciences». In these areas she also advises international organizations and authorities.
