Alexandria Deliz Liang is Assistant Professor for Digital Bioinorganic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at University of Zurich. She completed her doctorate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, 2015). Prior to her appointment at University of Zurich, she was a National Science Foundation (NSF, USA) postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology (Cambridge, UK) and a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at University of Basel (Basel, CH).
Alexandria Deliz Liang's research interests are broad and include many topics in chemistry, biochemistry, machine learning, and data analytics. Her research laboratory focuses on bioinorganic chemistry, enzyme engineering (directed evolution), machine learning, and unnatural amino acid incorporation.
