UZH Innovathon: The Digitalization of Mobility

The «UZH Innovathon: The Digitalization of Mobility» an inter- and transdisciplinary course at UZH, will take place again in the coming autumn semester – for the fourth time already. The format was developed by the DSI Community Mobility together with the UZH Innovation Hub.

The UZH Innovathon brings together innovators from students, researchers and industry to work on digitalization challenges. The partners propose challenges that the teams work on during the Innovathon weekend. In the courses, UZH researchers support the participants in immersing themselves in the interdisciplinary topic of digital challenges.

The 3 ECTS innovation course is aimed at Master's and PhD students from all UZH faculties. The following content is taught:

  • Develop solutions to real-world challenges posed by partner organizations.
  • Get to know the topic of «The Digitalization of Mobility» from the perspective of different academic disciplines.
  • Gain innovation skills and experience in interdisciplinary teamwork by going through a design sprint process under the guidance of professional innovation coaches.

The UZH Innovathon will take place for the fourth time in the fall semester 2024 and is organized by the DSI Community Mobility together with the UZH Innovation Hub.
