Report «'Artificial Intelligence' in Switzerland 2024»

Two DSI members, in collaboration with the SRG, have conducted a representative survey on knowledge, use and attitudes regarding generative AI. The results are now available in a report.

DSI members Michael Latzer and Noemi Festic have published the report «‘Artificial Intelligence’ in Switzerland 2024: Knowledge, Use and Attitudes towards Generative AI». It examines how generative artificial intelligence (AI) has been integrated into the everyday lives of the Swiss population and what they think about generative AI.

How do people in Switzerland use artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT or Google Gemini in their everyday lives? Who uses them? For what purposes are they used and how comfortable are users when using them? These and other questions are answered in the report.

Michael Latzer and Noemi Festic, in collaboration with the SRG, have collected nationally representative data on the use and impact of these AI tools for the report.
