On September 21 and 28, the Data Donation Lab at the University of Zurich – a project of the «DSI Infrastructures & Labs» series – organized the first Data Donation Days for the general public in Zurich and Winterthur.
Participating researchers aimed at making Zurich residents aware of their right to their personal user data and convince them of the social benefits of data donation for science.
Visitors were invited to donate their data to one of four selected research projects. These included projects on the influence of social media and artificial intelligence on political opinion-forming, mental health, daily media use and the perception of science.
