In the first part, Prof. Dr. Günter Daniel Rey will give a guest lecture on the advantages and disadvantages of face-to-face and online lectures. He will also outline the empirical findings and methodological challenges of each instruction mode and discuss how these issues can be addressed in the future.
In the second part, Sebastian Jansen will deliver an interactive workshop that focuses on the innovative realm of digital avatars and their applications in (online) teaching. Participants will gain hands-on experience in creating their own avatars tailored for effective online instruction, unlocking new possibilities in digital education.
